It can be an uphill battle to find natural remedies for forehead wrinkles, THAT ACTUALLY WORK… Am I right or am I right? As someone who has had forehead wrinkles since I was a teen, I know all about the desire to see them disappear and the decision only to use remedies, products, and devices that I feel are safe and as low toxic as possible. I am very against Botox and fillers/injectables. In this post, I’m going to share the very most natural remedies and tools I’ve used to lessen my forehead wrinkles that are the very most natural. If you are open to options that have helped my forehead wrinkles decrease that are low toxic but maybe not 100% natural (“natural” is such a subjective term”) then you can check out this similar post where I included a few tools and serums I use that have made a huge difference but that are not mentioned here.

Here’s a picture of me in June on the Left and then one on the Right that I took recently- 4 months after I started using these natural remedies ( plus a few other things I mention here). I have another set of before and after pics in this post.

Natural Remedies for Forehead Wrinkles

Drink More Water

I feel a little silly adding this but it’s so true that your wrinkles are going to look so much worse if you are dehydrated and so much better if you are well hydrated. Try drinking 72oz to 1 gallon a day of water to reach peak hydration.

Exfoliate

Dead skin is going to make your wrinkles look worse and prevent cell turnover. By keeping your face clean and exfoliated your skin will have the best chance of creating new skin cells while sloughing off the dead skin that is building up in your wrinkle furrows. You can use manual exfoliation. Here’s a good product for that. Or you can a form of retinol like this. Another option is dermaplaning (basically shaving your face) to remove dead skin. I personally like rotating through this and my favorite option of all of them is using a glycolic acid or AHA or BHA to gently exfoliate.

Frownies Facial Patches: Natural Remedies for Forehead Wrinkles

Frownies are the #1 natural remedy for forehead wrinkles that I would suggest to anyone wanting to get rid of their forehead wrinkles without using Botox. Frownies facial patches are adhesive (using natural plant-based adhesive) that you put on your forehead overnight to form a “cast” that keeps your muscles from moving. If your muscles can’t move then you can’t form the expressions you make that have caused your wrinkles! This is kind of how Botox works but Botox paralyzes the muscles with toxins whereas Frownies just splints the muscles so they can’t move. You will see results after the first use but the results will wear off. It took me 2 months of nightly use to see lasting results that continued all day. I LOVE my Frownies because they are so natural and they work so well.

Moisturize

There are many natural moisturizers you can use on your forehead to keep that skin supple and to create a healing condition. Imagine having super dry skin on your elbows and how much more pronounced the wrinkles on your elbows would be. Now, imagine how much better that area would look if it was heavily moisturized. I like to use Frownies Vitamin C & E Serum or Castor Oil on my wrinkles. I only use castor oil at night though, it’s to stick to use during the day.

Face Yoga

Face yoga consists of facial exercises and sometimes facial massage. The exercises work to train your muscles to move in certain ways that won’t produce expression lines, to tone areas that will keep your face lifted and aligned, and to train your face to be shaped the way you want. Facial massage helps move the lymph fluid in the face, loosen tight muscles, and release muscles that are pulling the face in undesirable ways. There are a few face yoga exercises I’ve learned that specifically work to help retrain your forehead muscles to stabilize and not lift and scrunch and then if you massage your forehead with your knuckles above your eye brow you will likely feel tension that would benefit from facial massage. I don’t think Face Yoga is the end all be all when it comes to getting rid of forehead wrinkles but it makes a positive difference in your overall facial structure.

Bioactive Collagen Peptide Supplement

I am not an expert in this area but I have seen distinct changes in my forehead wrinkles from taking this specific collagen supplement every morning. I can not promise any and every collagen supplement will work and at some point, I will put in the work to research collagen supplements but I see a huge difference in my forehead wrinkles specifically when I take my collagen in the morning.

Conclusion: Natural Remedies for Forehead Wrinkles

You can ask 100 people what they use as a natural remedy for forehead wrinkles and you will get different answers. I could have added things like Vitamin C serum Rose Hip Oil or essential oils but I have used all of those with no noticeable difference in my forehead wrinkles so I didn’t want to list anything that has not worked for me. This list of natural remedies lists just a few of the low-toxic things I use and do to majorly lessen my forehead wrinkles. If you’d like to read my comprehensive post about all the things I have done THAT work to get rid of my forehead wrinkles then go to this post where I share it ALL.
